October 1st and 2nd - AuGlaize Village Johnny Appleseed Festival, The big event of the year. The village becomes a beehive of activity featuring crafts and the production of apple butter and sorghum molasses. An antique tractor pull, garden tractor pull and a pre-1840 encampment. October 1st Fountain to Fountain Race - The Zonta Club of Defiance is hosting its annual race to raise money for the discounted mammogram program at DRMC.  $15 entry fee before September 3rd, after is $20. (DEFIANCE)

October 8th -  150th Civil War Anniversary Reenactment and Camp Latty Dedication
